Steven Andries – March 2013

These are some of the photos I took during my annual visit to Ndutu. March 2013 was extremely rewarding with many exciting cheetah sights (playing, climbing cars, killing,…), several lion cubs to look for and a lot of nice birds around the lodge. Wildebeests and zebra’s were constantly on the move, following the rains. One day the plains were overcrowded, the next day they were empty again.

We were also surprised to meet a ‘relaxed’ eland that didn’t start running at first sight. In fact we could come as close as 30 meters and take our time to photograph it. Must have been the result of either bad education or brain damage…

Anyway, I’m already looking forward to my next visit in January!
