We had a German film team staying at the lodge in July 2009. They were doing a project for PROBONO, a German non-profit association that initiates and supports partnerships and pupil exchanges between schools in Germany and schools in Tanzania.
The two-fold aim for this project is to support and fund partner schools in Tanzania in order to improve their educational situation and to promote social values and social engagement in German schools.
We sponsored them by providing complimentary accommodation, and in exchange they have made a video about the lodge, as well as taking lots of photographs.
