We have lived for 3 days in your paradisiac lodge from February 2nd to 4th, we still have in our memories the "kiboko" drawing on the door of our room 35. It has been the best days of our safari, it was definitely the best place to be at this moment. We have seen lots of animals in your neighbourhood: giraffes, zebras and elephants already at the waterhole, cheetahs, hyenas, lions, gazelles and of course thousands of wildebeests. We were among the fortunate people who could have heard the famous "roaring lions night" and we were more fortunate to meet them the morning after on the Ndutu lake shore just before dawn. It was an amazing encounter: 3 lions and a lioness walking in our direction and crossing us, calm and quiet in a beautiful light. We can't tell you all the meetings we had... the 4 cheetahs trying to chase a hare; one of the many lost newborn wildebeest; the so close elephant eating the plants in garden of the bungalow at the very right with the aardvark wooden statue, and the other one, so close too, between our room 35 and the tents; the bat who slept hang on our verandah...
What could we say about your lodge ? Our english is not enough fluent to find the superlatives. But we can say that it is a kind of paradise. We won't forget the lounge, the bar and the genets at the early breakfasts, the small and nice shop, the footprints in the cement... Nice rooms, great organisation, very good food, and very nice people. Say hello to Joseph who has kindly taken care of us during our meals. So sad to be back in France, we just have one thought: To go back! Almost every day we take a look on your site in the Paul's lines on "What's happening" section to follow your news, it is a bit like we are still there... Thank you again for such wildlife beauties, such hospitality and kindness. We hope to see you soon...

"Ndutu Lodge is for me something of special in the heaven of Serengeti. I like Ndutu Lodge and Aadje, Louise, Paul and the staff with their warm friendliness and hospitality. Now I am glad to send some of my photos, which I tooked in all the past years around Ndutu, showing the beauty of that place. Feel free, if you like, to use them in your website, so, for the present (waiting for my next visit) , I'll be at Ndutu at least in the web." Pierluigi is a frequent visitor to Ndutu and his pictures are outstanding. Click here, or on any of the sample thumbnails below, for a gallery of his slides, and a slide show. If you have never been to Ndudu, then you will surely want to after seeing his photos, and if you have been, then they will bring back some vivid memories for you. If you have any questions about his photos, or any feedback for Pierluigi, |

Some
months ago, while we were thinking about a safari in Tanzania with our four children (aged from 6 to 14), someone told
us it was a crazy idea. Nevertheless we decided to go, and in April 2001 we enjoyed the best holiday of our lifes. We'll
never forget the wonderful people, landscape and animals we found, and all the exciting experiences we had. We have
very fond memories of Ndutu: the lodge is in an extraordinary place and everyone there had been extremely kind.

Marilyn and John, |
We have decided our time with Louise and Ndutu surroundings was the best vacation we have ever had in
our almost 70 years. Counting meeting us at Seronera airstrip and taking us to Manyara airport, she was with us for
five days, sharing a personalized tour with information and friendship. Thanks. |

Just wanted to thank you for your hospitality when we visited recently. We had a fabulous time and it won't surprise
you that your lodge is up there as one of our favourites. |

Coming back to Denmark to snow and below zero degrees we send you our hearty thanks for three wonderful days in Ndutu. Your hospitality was great, and we look back on the wonderful evenings sitting together at the fire under the African star sky. Now we enjoy the memories and the great pictures of the animals in Nduto and Serengeti. |

Jambo ! Kwaheri ! |

Just a quick thank you to you all, for the wonderful few days in Ndutu. It was a very very special New Year, made possible by yourselves. The positive atmosphere and respect that's oozing out of all of you is just so palpable, a pleasure to get a glimpse of it and be part of it. New Years Day Aadje was whow! Your knowledge, experience and respect for the environment was wonderful and even better for us that you are so willing to share it...Thank you! I hope you have a really enjoyable high season and then get a chance to rest following that. |

Thanks again for a wonderful safari. We loved Ndutu Lodge, it truly was the trip of a lifetime. Your hospitality and personalities made our time there special, one we will always remember. We ended up with some great pictures, even the leopard shots near dusk turned out well. We are giving presentations here to various groups and will be sure to mentions Ndutu Lodge to all. Hopefully we can return to Africa someday. If we do, we will be sure to visit Ndutu and look you up again. |

First of all thank you very much for your hospitality and all you did for us. We enjoyed our stay over there, especially our children are always talking about it. We never wanted to say goodbye to Ndutu. This was one of our most exciting safari we ever had. We were very lucky in three days we saw 24 lions, with 2 hunts (already hunted) 13 cheetahs, with 1 hunt. and 4 of them were trying to hunt when we were coming out from the crater towards Sopa lodge. Unfortunately we did not see the hunt, 1 leopard, on a tree, 5 rhinos, lots of hippos in Serengeti, and in the crater in both the hippo pools. zebras, gnus, gazelles, lots of pretty birds and many more. Once again we thank you very much and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Salaamu mingi to Marseli, Thomas and John and everyone else. |
